Partners & Support
LightKeep is not made alone. It is being built with the people and institutions who already keep this village's memory — and it is designed to add to their work, not sit beside it.
Rottingdean Parish Council. LightKeep is working with the Parish Council on where and how the project will be shown in the village — including St Aubyn's Chapel, the 1912 school chapel the Council is restoring for community use, and the Cricket Pavilion beside the green.
Rottingdean Heritage — The Grange Museum & Archive. The archive at The Grange holds the village's written and photographic memory: photographs, letters, certificates, lives filed and protected. Mike Laslett, its curator and archivist, has opened the collection to LightKeep — historical context for the portraits being made now, and the model for the archive LightKeep will leave behind.

LightKeep is seeking support from Arts Council England's National Lottery Project Grants. This page will grow as the project does.
If your organisation belongs on this page — a venue, a community group, a school, a library — we would like to talk.
